WELCOME TO THE SFFP FAMILY GROUP.
South Florida Family Pride is a wonderful online support group. 

This Group is comprised of Members in South Florida, predominately Broward, Dade and Palm Beach Counties. 
Our common goal is to provide network and support opportunities for LGBT parents, their children, and those in the LGBT community working on creating a family.
Our members come from many diverse backrounds and their children's backrounds are even broader. 

CHAT:
There is often lots of chat. Use our new forums section to post messages, chat, receive and review responses etc.  POST only in the section applicable to your POST.

INTRODUCTIONS:
Once you are familiar with how to use our SFFP Forums (message boards), You MUST post an introduction to say hi.  Let everyone know who you are, a little about your family, or plans to start a family and where you live. 

ACTIVITIES:
We plan monthly family activites.  MARK your calander for the 1st saturday of Every Month.
There will be other activities and events that come up in between.   Plan your own event, contact group moderator for ideas. 

POSTING GUIDELINES:We want to have as few "rules" as possible.. But we must have this

section as this is a FAMILY GROUP...
With that said....

1.  All posts should be family friendly.. This is not a place for personal ads, ex-rated pictures attached to your yahoo profile or soliciting a any sort of non-family related activity...                           
2.  No Spam will be tolerated. If you are a member of any other group or list-serve you know what an issue this can be. There is a ZERO tolerance for spam,  Send SPAM, BE BANNED!!

3.  Debates and polite arguments are encouraged and OK.. The world is full of opinions....  PLEASE try to respect others feelings and opinions.. If it gets out of hand, we will cut the disucssion.
4.  PLEASE sign all your posts with A NAME... use the same name, so that people can get to know you. Posting with your screen name only confuses things when we have get-togethers.

PLEASE feel free to contact me at any time to discuss issues, questions on how to use the group, issues or problems you see with the group, SUGGESTIONS on how to make things better, Plan an event..  Start a sub-play group...  And anything else you want to chat about...
